Bondage Tickling Insanity
I’ve never heard of anybody being driven literally insane by tickling, but this old boy in Britain who had his wife tied down for the full foot treatment apparently gave it a serious try 150 years ago:
Sadly our source for this lurid scheme is unreliable. It’s said to be from the London Illustrated Police News, circa 1870, and that was a shady tabloid if ever there was one. Thanks to Funcanny for finding a reproduction in the book ‘Orrible Murder (1974).
