No offense, B, but there’s lots of humor in your claim that you don’t judge other people’s kink, and then immediately proceed to do just that.
First of all, your question about who is getting turned on is a not-very-subtle condemnation of the play — you’re asserting, in effect, that neither the top nor the bottom could possibly be enjoying themselves. Which is judgmental, and IMO likely wrong.
As for your claim about danger, I think SpankBoss over at Spanking Blog has your number: “Too often people use faux safety concerns to … condemn the kinks of others.”
My own opinion about this kind of play is that it’s too dangerous for my taste, if I were doing it at home and in private, but probably not too dangerous for the folks doing it — experienced players in a well-equipped dungeon with safety-conscious folk standing helpfully by.
More to the point, anything negative you or I might choose to say about the safety preferences of others would be pretty stupid, because it’s none of our damned business.

There are time limits, the model has specifically agreed to being dunked, and she’s got a couple of options for safe words and gestures. If she wants to stop (or slow down) the shoot, they will. If she wants to quit it altogether, she’ll get paid for the part she performed.
