Kept In A Barrel
If you’re older than a certain age, you probably said things like “Stop crying or I’ll give you something to cry about” to your kids, or you may have been a kid who heard phrases like that. There’s a social media trend currently where today’s gentler parents flex and show off by saying the first few words of phrases like this and invite their less traumatized children to guess, wildly and without succes, at how to finish the old menacing parental threats. Apparently, kids these days don’t get threatened near as much as we GenXers did. The trend reminded me, however, of a murderous joke going back to the 19th century about how to raise boys: the suggestion was to keep them in a wooden barrel and feed them through the bunghole until they reach adolescence, and then, for the welfare of everyone, it was thought best to drive the bung into the bunghole and seal up the barrel for good.
Fortunately, even the creepiest old memes can be remixed with beauty and repurposed into something sensual, as these photos from Good Girl at Kink.com prove.
