Student doctors have all kinds of things they need to practice, and the rubber practice dummies aren’t as realistic in their textures and reactions. Besides, having special penalties for staff caught ignoring infection-control protocols leads to fewer hospital-acquired infections and thus results in better patient outcomes. If a few shifts in the dummy box can satisfy all those needs, what dedicated health care worker would object?
