This is an illustration for a Fanny Hall story, and (if I remember correctly) the point was that Fanny, who did the tying, had plenty of time and revenge in mind. Of course she did the tying while the victim was lying on the bed, then hoisted her up. There were some GREAT illustrations in that story. You could post all 1000+ Bishop illustrations as far as I’m concerned.
I think that all the time put into doing something like this would be worth it. After all isn’t half the fun of tying a girl up the act of actually tying her up?
