It’s a tale as old as pretty girls going on safari in the comic books and getting into bondage trouble. Captured by the natives, tied to carrying poles, and carried off! “What are they going to do to us?” asks the first pretty girl on the carrying pole. “I don’t know! I don’t know!” exclaims the other.

One hates to point out the obvious to our damsels in safari bondage distress, but there’s really only two answers that make any narrative sense. There’s the proverbial fate worse than death, or there’s the stereotypical cast iron soup pot. And what nobody ever has the bad taste to mention in situations like this: the two scenarios are not mutually exclusive! Who is to say these guys don’t like to play with their food?

It is definitely bondage time in this ridiculous comic panel is from Puntella Prim: The Sexy Superspy, by Vic Martin. The overall comic storyline seems to be very much in the archly-humorous style of Eric Stanton’s Blunderbroad or John Willie’s Sweet Gwendoline, although the bondage content seems only to be incidental, so perhaps Wicked Wanda would be a better reference. I found it in the October 1969 issue of Daring magazine.

This little browser game requires you to solve a few simple point-and-click mouse puzzles before you get to the “good parts”. For as long as I have been downloading kinky pictures from the internet — which (ticking off the years on my fingers) is now appallingly close to a quarter of a century — I have been seeing this one Japanese bondage illustration of a girl squatting in rope bondage, tethered to a doghouse, with a food dish nearby. Early versions that I saw were sized for download via 300-baud modem. We’re talking 120 pixels wide, grainy dithered black and white, maybe 16 shades of gray. A LOT of years ago, this was.

So you can imagine my amusement to finally come across the original source image in a decent quality scan of the June 1972 issue of Kitan Club. This poor puppygirl has been exiled from the house:
