Seriously, guys… when will you learn that “fumetti” is just the Italian word for “comics”, and refers to anything using balloon speech bubbles, be it Lady Cruel, Donald Duck or Maus?

The word you are looking for might be “fumetti neri” (meaning “black comics”), which is used exclusively by comics historians and critics to indicate the cheap comic book genre from the 1960s and ’70s inspired by the success of “Diabolik”. The latter is a longstanding (it’s still being published!) series about a master thief dressed in a black catsuit, and since his adventures were seen as a glorification of crime back in the days, it had a bad reputation among bigots.

Diabolik’s success gave rise to sleazier and sleazier imitators that soon spiralled into sheer (and often violent) pornography. Those books were a staple of military conscripts, hence they were also known as “barracks’ comics” – but nobody ever called them “fumetti neri” besides highbrow critics anyway.

Just one guy, and I’m never going to “learn” what isn’t so in the context I’m working from, which is various English-language discussions in which “fumetti” is used to mean Italian comics of a certain style just like “manga” is used to mean Japanese comics of a certain style, which isn’t quite literally true either but it’s how the word get used.

Sorry the comics neepery isn’t up to your standards! But I’m a bondage guy, not a comics guy, so it’s probably not going to improve much.
