Put Her In The Iron Maiden

This iron maiden is clearly designed for long-term punishments; it’s got front-and-rear plumbing, headphones, and some sort of breast pump devices all permanently affixed.

I have seen this artwork attributed to the artist Jeff Proett; elsewhere it is ascribed to an artist (or publication?) named Praxis.

What seems to be more interesting to me is that there are no sleeves. It seems that the hands of whoever is inside are supposed to be outside — but only hands.

I am not completely clear on how the victim (captive? patient?) is fed. I may be missing something that’s there.

How do I volunteer for something like this? Wish the front had spikes too!

Volunteer, Breanne? You are not supposed to volunteer. It’s supposed to horrify you. Oh well. Time enough for that after the lid is shut and the padlocks keep the two halves clamped together. Nor need one be as dressed as the lady victim in this picture. Better to feel the press of the metal against one’s bare flesh.
