The Neon Wand, Now With New Attachments
The Neon Wand from The Stockroom got a lot of attention when it debuted roughly a year ago, and why not? It’s a plasma wand sex toy device that’s available in different glow-colors, it got good reviews, and it only costs a third to a fifth as much (currently, $150, though sometimes discounted a bit) as the category-defining (and oh-so-venerable) Violet Wand ($450 to $775):

For the old Violet Wand, the ecosystem of extras was wide and deep. Fortunately, it hasn’t taken The Stockroom long to introduce a good range of accessories for the Neon Wand as well. Note on potential interoperability: if you read the descriptions of the various attachments, you’ll notice that some of them are for the Neon Wand only, some are advertised as suitable for use in Violet Wands as well, and some have descriptions that are silent on the question of interoperability. I wish there were a common rule of thumb, but apparently, there’s not.
As a note here, I bough a Neon wand rather early on and purchased several Violet wand electrodes at the same time. I have never had a problem with one not working.
Having a Good understanding of electronics and having opened the wand up, I can say that their output is almost identical and there should never be any real problem with using Violet wand probes with the neon wand (however going the opposite way could have issues due to different load handling characteristics, Id need to do more work to check.)
