The Neon Wand, Now With New Attachments

The Neon Wand from The Stockroom got a lot of attention when it debuted roughly a year ago, and why not? It’s a plasma wand sex toy device that’s available in different glow-colors, it got good reviews, and it only costs a third to a fifth as much (currently, $150, though sometimes discounted a bit) as the category-defining (and oh-so-venerable) Violet Wand ($450 to $775):

However, at first the accessories-and-attachments available for the Neon Wand were fairly limited; it came with the probes in the box, and that was pretty much it. For the old Violet Wand, the ecosystem of extras was wide and deep. Fortunately, it hasn’t taken The Stockroom long to introduce a good range of accessories for the Neon Wand as well. Most notable is the body contact accessory, something every plasma wand user probably wants eventually. For the Neon Wand it’s called the Power Tripper:

What if you could make your partner literally tingle every time you touched them? The Power Tripper™ takes erotic electro stimulation to a whole new level, allowing you to generate sensually stimulating sparks whenever – and wherever – your skin comes in contact with another person’s. When it’s plugged into the Wand and placed against your bare skin, your partner feels a delicious electric tingle flowing from your tongue or fingertips every time you kiss; lick; or touch them – just imagine the tormenting but sensual possibilities…such as mind-blowing oral electro sex! Depending on your wand’s power setting, sensations produced range from gently stimulating to a potent bite.

This intimate method of using violet ray wands like the Neon Wand™ is called the Human Electrode or Indirect technique, since electrical stimulation with these toys usually occurs directly, via the conductive, glowing glass attachments that give them their names.

But the PowerTripper™ isn’t just innovative because it doubles your Neon Wand™ repertoire. Its highly conductive materials and wiring lend it a unique precision and efficiency, making it capable, when used with a Neon Wand™ at lower power settings, of producing sensations equal in intensity to what other body contact electrodes on the market can only achieve if the power is cranked to a maximum. Whether you’re new to electro sex or an experienced estim player, the Power Tripper™ is guaranteed to be unlike anything you’ve ever felt before!

There’s also the roller electrode, the comb, and quite an array of more standard probe-like electrodes:

And now a question for you, dear readers. If you’ve got a Neon Wand, which attachments do you consider essential, and which could you do without?

Note on potential interoperability: if you read the descriptions of the various attachments, you’ll notice that some of them are for the Neon Wand only, some are advertised as suitable for use in Violet Wands as well, and some have descriptions that are silent on the question of interoperability. I wish there were a common rule of thumb, but apparently, there’s not.

As a note here, I bough a Neon wand rather early on and purchased several Violet wand electrodes at the same time. I have never had a problem with one not working.

Having a Good understanding of electronics and having opened the wand up, I can say that their output is almost identical and there should never be any real problem with using Violet wand probes with the neon wand (however going the opposite way could have issues due to different load handling characteristics, Id need to do more work to check.)
