Not bad, but my favorite Tarzan scene is from Tarzan Escapes, when Jane is tied with her back to a huge tree trunk. I must say Maureen O’Sullivan had quite lovely thighs, which displayed well here, what with that short little jungle dress with the ragged hem.

Wow, that is a good slave market image. The girls are clothed, but scantily for the Hayes Code era, and they’re in a cell. though I don’t think any actual slave buyer would bid on a slave they couldn’t inspect up close and personal.

This lovely serial was shot in 1929, a few years before the Hayes Code came into effect. It’s silent except for Tarzan’s yell – I guess the producers figured they had to make some use of this new sound thing that everyone was talking about.
