Not Bound By Gravity

I’ve long been a fan of Bill Ward’s fetish illustrations. But the longer I stare at this one, the more I conclude, he was smoking some serious weed the day he drew it. Because the more I look at the ropes, the more I conclude that his subject is not under the influence of any earthly gravity. Let her loose, and she’s going to fly away:

Yes, but the vectors are wrong … the direction her wrists are being pulled does not explain why her ankle ropes are taught in the vector shown.
