I never liked her and thought she oozed arrogance. I always rooted for Martina Navratilova to crush her and had this fantasy about some bondage bet they’d settle in private after the match in which Steffi would be tormented, tickled and absolutely humiliated by Martina. Later, the fantasy became Maria Sharapova losing to Serena, (which always happened) and Maria getting tied up and having to worship Serena’s very stinky feet to pay up the bet.
