They did, eventually and without fanfare, return an option to download zip files of still photos to the old shoots. Some new shoots come without stills … or without more than the 16-20 default ones needed for the shoot advertising … but most of the old stuff is available again.

And realizing that, and that many people are just as happy (sometimes happier) to use still photos as their wank material as they are videos, Kink’s removing some of the ‘competition’ to their pay service by removing access to the photos altogether.

After all, it’s not as if most of the stuff that gets posted to Tumblr was the publicly facing publicity stills, a lot of it was from folk downloading the photosets after paying for access and then sharing them.
