She does not say, “Give him a little whipping,” or, “Give him a little of the whip.” She says, “Give him a little whip,” as in hand the little whip over to her husband.

She also says, “…but I’m an expert at handling it…” Maybe she means she is expert at handling the whip, but the sentence can also be interpreted to mean she is an expert at handling the pain.
