Assuming the absolute truth of her tale, what she is is risk-seeking. That’s “dumb” or “suicidal” to those of us who prioritize safety and health, but there are plenty of extreme skiers and race car drivers who do stuff that’s just as dangerous, and we don’t (well, I do, but I’m unusual because I don’t get the whole sports thing) call them dumb or suicidal.
