I’m enjoying the recent trend of using rough steel wire cable as a mouth gag on bondage models. If it’s more mouth-control-by-pain than mouth-control-by-obstruction, I don’t really have a problem with that:

Zip ties can have the same effect but are slightly easier on the victims mouth. Worse I ever had was being tied to a upright pole and then being ziptied by the mouth to the pole so the pole was pressing against the back of my head and the ties were holding my mouth firmly open.
