Anthony Bourdain Interviews Hajime About Shibari

In a recent episode of his CNN show, Anthony Bourdain took the opportunity to interview Hajime Kinoko about rope bondage:

I love the reserve with which Bourdain says of tying somebody up “It looks like a very, er, delicate procedure….”

In case that particular embed doesn’t last, the interview takes place in the Season Two Tokyo Japan episode of Parts Unknown.

Thanks Pussycat. Unfortunately that Guardian article relies on some really funky studies and statistics; if you Google some of the critiques, you’ll find out that there’s a lot more sex still going on in Japan than is evident from that article.

yes i m sure that can be the case as Japan seems to be in media for all the wrong reasons these days ,but i was glad of one thing that someone from bondage industry is represented in a positive light by the media .someone who is helping ppl connect with one another other wise news is filled with bondage scenes gone wrong or some idiot kidnapping women to make them sex slave u know
