Pretty Slave, Pretty Nails
If you remember your John Norman, there’s a lot of blather in some of the Gor books about a good slave keeping herself pretty for her master. Well, I don’t know that it has anything to do with being a slave per se, but there are a lot of women in general who strive to perfect their appearance even under adverse circumstances. Like Sarah Jane Ceylon, here, doing her nail polish in heavy chains in a recent update at Real time Bondage:

I don’t see anything wrong with a slave girl keeping herself pretty. There’s certainly a lot of blather in the Gor books, but that notion seems quite reasonable.

I’ve always rather loved casual bondage–restraints during otherwise mundane/nonsexual activities. Gives those little things that extra (exciting) bit of challenge. :)
