Here’s a serious-but-fun post from Clarisse Thorn about re-imagining the existing biases and superstitions against S&M. She turns the popular vanilla vision of S&M as some sort of defective brokenness on its head, by laying out how different the world would seem if kinky traits were viewed as heroic superpowers. When I attacked the piece to try and find two sentences to blockquote, I failed; it was too intricately written, and I couldn’t find a partial quote that did it justice.
