I try not to ever base a post around a YouTube video, though, because in my experience, YouTube isn’t very reliable; they are always pulling videos down or letting them vanish for various reasons. And I hate to have the main content of a post vanish.

I wonder what the story is behind it. They could be trying to experience the Passion on a personal level, or re-enacting the persecution of the Martyrs by the Romans. Their skirts are a bit on the short side for normal church attendance. Probably the high hemline is symbolic, suggesting being affixed to the cross after having first been stripped naked.
